After a brief break with last week’s All-Star Race, the NASCAR season is back on with the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday night from Charlotte Motor Speedway, the 12th of 36 races in the 2017 season.

What time does the Coca-Cola 600 start?

Sunday’s race from Charlotte is expected to start at approximately 6:18 p.m. ET.

How can I watch the race on television or online?

Fox will televise the Coca-Cola 600 at 6 p.m., with Mike Joy calling the race alongside analysts Jeff Gordon, Larry McReynolds, and Darrell Waltrip. Also on the broadcasts are pit reporters Jamie Little, Chris Neville, Vince Welch and Matt Yocum.

The race is available to stream online through Fox Sports Go.

Where is the Coca-Cola 600?

The race is held at Charlotte Motor Speedway, which is actually located in Concord, N.C. In addition to last week’s All-Star Race, Charlotte Motor Speedway will also host the Bank of America 500 on Oct. 8, during the NASCAR Cup championship playoffs.

Jimmie Johnson is a four-time winner of both races in Charlotte, having last won the Coca-Cola 600 in 2014 and having last won the Bank of America 500 last year. Martin Truex Jr. won the Coca-Cola 600 in 2016.

Quotable

Kyle Busch won the All-Star Race last weekend in Charlotte, but he is looking for his first win during the 2017 season. He has a quartet of top-five finishes this year, topping out at second place at Martinsville in April.

“Whether you like him or not, you have to respect his talent and abilities behind the wheel. He’s one of the all-time best. I raced against him. The kid is incredible, and he certainly showed that at the All-Star Race.” — Jeff Gordon, on Kyle Busch’s chances this week in Charlotte.
