Kurt Busch won the 2016 Pocono 400, and is looking to become the first back-to-back winner of this race since Jeff Gordon in 1996-97.
Kyle Busch won the pole position at Pocono on Sunday, his second consecutive pole this NASCAR season. Kyle Busch has yet to win this season, but ranks fourth in points, thanks to a pair of second-place finishes and five times finishing in the top five.
Kurt Busch won the Daytona 500, but hasn’t finished higher than sixth since in 2017.
Kyle Busch won the pole with a qualifying speed of 179.151 mph on Friday, and Kurt Busch will start in fifth position.
Points leader Martin Truex Jr., with two wins under his belt this season, starts in second position on Sunday at Pocono.
Fox Sports 1 will televise the race at 3 p.m. ET, with a green flag time scheduled for 3:18 p.m. Mike Joy will call the race, alongside Gordon — a four-time winner of the Pocono 400 — Darrell Waltrip, and Larry McReynolds.
