Some drivers go to more extremes than others to ensure authenticity when it comes to NASCAR’s annual Southern 500 throwback weekend, taking place this weekend at Darlington Raceway.

Among the throwback paint schemes being incorporated this year, Brad Keselowski is honoring Rusty Wallace by driving a black Miller Genuine Draft car mirroring the renowned design Wallace raced from 1991-1995. But Keselowski is taking it a step further than just paying homage to Wallace’s paint schemes.

Harkening back to when Wallace had a blond afro, Keselowski sported a big blonde wig as he walked through the garage Friday prior to practice for Sunday’s Southern 500 (6 p.m. ET, NBCSN). The resemblance was so uncanny, Kenny Wallace, Rusty’s younger brother, took notice and said Keselowski nailed the look.
