Hendrick Motorsports teammates Dale Earnhardt Jr., Chase Elliott, Jimmie Johnson and Kasey Kahne have established a relief fund with the goal of raising $500,000 to help those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

The four Cup Series drivers have committed a combined $200,000 and are encouraging donations to raise the rest of the money before midnight ET on Sept. 20. Contributions, which are tax-deductible, can be made by visiting HendrickRelief.org and will “benefit qualified charitable organizations supporting disaster relief efforts.”

The money collected will be hosted by the Jimmie Johnson Foundation, a nonprofit organization.

Seven-time NASCAR champion Johnson is hosting the disaster relief fund at the Jimmie Johnson Foundation. He called the devastation done by Harvey “incomprehensible” and called on NASCAR fans to help with the recovery.

“The devastation caused by Harvey is incomprehensible,” said Johnson, the only driver to win five consecutive titles. “NASCAR fans are some of the most generous and giving people on earth … over the next two weeks, we want to raise as much as we can to help as many people as we can.”
