NBA Draft Rumors 2012: Bradley Beal Will Only Work Out For Top 4 Teams

Bradley Beal wasn't the most talked about prospect during his freshman season with the Florida Gators, but that's changing these days. In fact, following the recent NBA Draft Combine, it's been revealed that the 6'5 shooting guard has decided he'll fall no lower than the fourth overall pick.

Beal was profiled in a Sunday column by Sports Illustrated's Sam Amick (where he revealed he believes he's more like the old Ray Allen, not old Ray Allen), but the most interesting part to draftniks may have come regarding his schedule for individual workouts.

Agent Mark Bartelstein told SI.com that he has no plans for Beal to conduct workouts with teams beyond the top four. Beal is tentatively scheduled to work out for Washington on Thursday, Cleveland on Saturday and Charlotte on June 18.

That obviously leaves quite a few teams on the outside looking in, but this isn’t a bad move considering that he’ll likely be snatched up very quickly if he drops further than Cleveland’s No. 4 pick -- with or without an individual workout.

Aside from the knowledge dropped on Beal, Amick's must-read column also has a mini-feature on Kendall Marshall, discusses Baylor's Quincy Miller and notes the players that made the biggest positive impressions at the combine.
