2012 NBA Draft Order: New Orleans Starts Things Off

The 2012 NBA draft is set to tip off on Thursday evening, with the Hornets slotted to make the first overall selection.

The 2012 NBA draft is set to take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., on Thursday, June 28. The festivities will kick off with the New Orleans Hornets using the No. 1 overall pick that they received after winning the NBA draft lottery. The night will come to a close with the Los Angeles Lakers making the final pick of the second round -- that is, if they haven't traded the pick by that time.

Here is the order of the first round of the 2012 NBA draft:
