Trade talks between the Sacramento Kings and Houston Rockets are continuing in the hours before the 2012 NBA draft, according to Marc Stein and Chad Ford of ESPN.com. The duo reports that Houston has apparently improved its most recent offer, which included Kyle Lowry and at least one mid-first-round pick. Houston holds the Nos. 12, 16 and 18 picks on Thursday.
NBA Trade Rumors: Kings, Rockets In Talks For No. 5 Pick
The Kings reportedly turned down a deal that would have brought them Lowry and No. 16 in exchange for No. 5 and Chuck Hayes on Wednesday. Ford and Stein report that the Kings will hold off on any trade until it's certain that they cannot grab Kansas forward Thomas Robinson with that No. 5 pick.
