Hey, You! Help Support A Great Basketball Website
”True story, my closet is like two stories,
Straight to the happy ending,
I don’t do stories,
Shawn Corey,
Real rap,
The Maybach is bananas, peel back.”
Listen, we’d all like to be able to talk like Jay-Z and have it be true. But in point of fact, not all of us are ballin’ on that level. But that doesn’t mean we can’t help each other out on occasion. And over at True Hoop, one of the best basketball blogs on the internet needs a little help.
It’s called NBA Playbook, and it’s one of the more indispensable hoops resources around.
The site, run by Sebastian Pruiti, does the yeoman’s work of gathering and analyzing videos from all 30 NBA teams, breaking down offenses, defenses, and officiating so that you don’t have to. Even if you haven’t been to the site, chances are you’ve read a lot of NBA writing that’s been influenced by the work over there. And now, he needs $10,000 just $140 to continue operating the site for the 2010-11 season. We can do that. It’s not asking anything too crazy, and really, it’s one of the best basketball resources on the internet. And it’s free.
So since Sebastian’s soliciting donations, I figured I’d pass it along. We’re not all Jay-Z, but if you love basketball, sparing five bucks to support NBA playbook would be pretty cool.
