Michael Cunningham of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution was the first to report that the Hawks have agreed to a five-year, $60 million extension with Horford. The deal will keep Horford in Atlanta through the 2015/16 season. The Hawks had until midnight tonight to agree to a contract, otherwise Horford would become a restricted free agent. It appears they got it done with several hours to spare.
