The Orlando Magic shot 60 percent in the first half. They have 17 assists on 24 shots, with nine of those coming from Jameer Nelson (who also has seven points). Vince Carter, leading all scorers, finished the half with 13 points, followed closely by Dwight Howard with 11 points and eight rebounds. The Magic had 25 total rebounds, as compared to just 13 for the Phoenix Suns.
Suns Vs. Magic: Score Says It All, Orlando Dominating Phoenix, 62-34
The Suns, shooting just 39 percent for the half, have turned the ball over nine times. Goran Dragic accounted for five of those turnovers, but he also contributed 10 points. Grant Hill leads the Suns in scoring with 12 points, shooting 5-for-6. Their defense looks slow, and they don't have any answer inside for Dwight Howard.
The Suns, normally considered a dangerous team from beyond the arc, have hit just one of 10 attempts, whereas the Magic have made six three-pointers. Of note is the fact that five different players have hit from long. They are distributing the ball well, and looking like the more impressive team all around.
