Magic Vs. Heat: Orlando Leads Miami At The Half, 51-43

The Orlando Magic and Miami Heat boast two talent-laden rosters, but it’s an unsung hero stealing the show for the Magic. The Magic are holding off the heat through two quarters and lead at the half, 51-43. Reserve power forward Brandon Bass put up a game-high 16 points in 13 minutes of play as the x-factor for the Magic. Coming off the bench, Bass provided a much-needed spark for the Magic while doubling his season scoring average in just one half of play

LeBron James leads the Heat with 15 points, three rebounds and two assists. Chris Bosh added nine points and three rebounds. Dwyane Wade has had a quiet night, scoring just four points on two of eight shooting.

Outside of Bass, a huge bright spot for the Magic, Dwight Howard dominated on the interior. The 6-foot-11 center pitched-in nine points and a game-high nine rebounds in the first half. Jameer Nelson added 10 assists for Orlando.
