Nate Robinson Celebrates Paul Pierce’s Winner With a Faceplant
Paul Pierce's game-winning jumper brought much jubilation to the Boston Celtics faithful ... including Pierce's own teammates. Among them was the excitable Nate Robinson, who got really excited and did something really, really stupid.
ESPN’s telecast missed all but the end of Nate-Rob’s chasedown congratulations of Pierce, but the CSN broadcast caught it. Thanks to the great jose3030, a highly rewatchable GIF is after the jump.
Nate is trying to be like, “Hey Paul! Good job, bro!” And Pierce is all like, “Check me out running around with swagger oozing all out of my body like pheromones!,” and Nate is all like “OH SNAPDRAGONS!”
Perhaps watching this on loop with be some small consolation to Robinson's old sparring partner Mike D'Antoni, coach of the Knicks. No word on whether Paul Pierce will be assessed a flagrant-2 for undercutting Nate.
