Getting blown out by the Wizards pretty much speaks for itself. I’m a Wizards fan, so you can just take my word for it: That team shouldn’t beat anybody by 30. But as loud as that loss echoed in NBA circles, Stephen Jackson’s post-game assessment hit even harder:
Did Stephen Jackson’s Quote End Larry Brown’s Run With The Bobcats?
We're just terrible on all cylinders.
... As a team we've been playing bad. At the end of the day, (the coach's) job is to prepare us and our job is to go out there and play. He's one of those coaches that if the team's not playing well he likes to take the blame. I'm one of the same guys. I'm not playing well.
Hitting on all cylinders? Why no! The exact opposite, actually. Terrible at everything.
And with all due respect to Larry Brown or the victorious Washington Wizards, you're just not going to sum up Charlotte's season better than that. After Captain Jack broke it down like only he can, it was only a matter of time before Larry Brown and Michael Jordan saw the writing on the wall. Er... It took 24 hours, to be exact.
A case of "When Real Talk Goes Wrong"? On that note... Merry Christmas Bobcats fans!
