Thunder Vs. Nuggets, NBA Christmas Day: Oklahoma City Rallies Back In Second Quarter
Durant leads all scorers with 19 points, and his scoring was part of a solid second quarter that helped the Thunder make up much of their deficit to the Nuggets. Denver leads 56-54 at the half.
Durant’s statistical contributions extend beyond points. He’s got four rebounds, an assist, a steal, and two blocks. He’s also made a sartorial contribution, wearing a new, neon yellow version of his signature Nike shoe, and inspiring all of the Thunder players to follow suit with their own variations on sunshine and canaries.
Meanwhile, Nene, who had a great first quarter and a big dunk on Jeff Green, still leads the Nuggets in scoring with 15 points, but had just two points and no rebounds in the second period.
