The Indiana Pacers led for much of the third quarter, and head into the fourth down only 83-82. Pretty amazing once you remember they trailed by as many as 22 in the first half. The Miami Heat are still relying heavily on Dwyane Wade, who’s scored almost half of their total points and has grabbed a game-high seven boards.
Heat Vs. Pacers Score: Dwyane Wade Up To 37 As Indy Wins Third Quarter
LeBron James now has 17 points and five assists, but has turned the ball over five times. Chris Bosh has put up 13 points and six rebounds.
Three Pacers — Roy Hibbert, Tyler Hansbrough, and Paul George — are in double figures, and Indy has continued its excellent shooting from long range. The Pacers have hit seven of their 12 three-point attempts, compared to Miami’s 25 percent rate from beyond the arc.
Anybody who counted the Pacers out (/points to self) after that ugly first quarter should watch the fourth closely.
