Jazz Vs. Celtics Score: Utah Staying With Boston So Far, Down 56-53 At Halftime

The No-Name Utah Jazz might just officially be Al Jefferson’s Utah Jazz after tonight. Jefferson has 18 point and 10 rebounds so far and he’s keeping the Jazz in tonight’s game with the Boston Celtics. Utah trails only three, 56-53, at the half.

The Jazz actually struck early and often, jumping out to a 10-2 lead. The Celtics responded, however, and went on a 17-2 run of their own. Ray Allen led the charge with 3 three-pointers.

With a nine point lead the Celtics looked to be in control. That’s when Jefferson mounted the charge and rallied the Jazz back, tying the game at 48 apiece.

The Celtics were able to get back a little space before the half, but not enough to feel too safe.

Paul Pierce leads the Celtics with 16 points so far.
