Dwight Howard has himself his 43rd double/double, and since Orlando's three-pointers aren't falling (they are currently 4-20) it's a good thing he's been getting his signature dunks in. He did, however, have to take a seat with four fouls midway through the quarter. With about 5 minutes to go in the third, the Magic went on an 13-0 scoring run, using their fast-break offense to grab the lead. Once the momentum swung in their favor, the game took on a different look completely.
Clippers Vs. Magic: Orlando Takes The Lead, Los Angeles Keep It Close
On a slightly comical note for the Clippers, Ryan Gomes is the player who has taken the most shots (11) but made the fewest, comparatively. Baron Davis is the only member of the team in double digits, and he isn't getting much help from superstar Blake Griffin. Davis racked up 10 points in the quarter, and kept his team in the game. They finished the third down by just one after the Magic were able to build an eight point lead.
There was just one highlight dunk, and it was, of course, an alleyoop to Griffin. At least he hasn’t completely disappeared from this game.
