Miami’s Chris Bosh has been solid with 14 points and five rebounds at the half. LeBron James has 13 points while Dwayne Wade chipped in 11. Towards the end of the half, James and Wade traded highlights. First Wade did a spin move into the lane and then leaped high up over Oklahoma City defenders to ram home a highlight dunk. Later in the period, LeBron drove baseline and slammed home a ferocious reverse dunk that got the Miami crowd going.
The Thunder controlled the game for much of the first half before Westbrook left the game with foul trouble. A couple of bad possessions got the Heat on a run and the lead that Oklahoma City built disappeared fast. Miami is at their best when they are forcing turnovers and can get out on the break for easy scores. The team that controls the pace of play in the second half will likely be able to pull out a victory in this contest.
