The Orlando Magic beat the New York Knicks 116-110 on Tuesday, making the NBA's new glamor team look like a paper target someone took a Tommy gun to. Orlando scored at least 30 points in three quarters, including 37 in the deciding fourth, and as such, 69 in the second half. New York's offense was great too, but the Knicks couldn't stop anyone, even for just a short while.

Dwight Howard had 30 points, 16 rebounds and five blocks to lead the Magic. Three big-name Knicks led the way for New York; Amar'e Stoudemire and Chauncey Billups each scored 30, and Carmelo Anthony had 25. But 'Melo was wildly inefficient, and the rest of the team scored just 25 points on poor shooting. Billups shot 4-9 on three-pointers; the rest of the Knicks hit just three of 21 attempts.
But again, it was New York's defense that was the problem. Jameer Nelson dropped 26 on Billups, and Ryan Anderson scored 16 off the bench. Nelson was brilliant in the fourth, scoring 11 points within four minutes as the Magic pulled away; Billups, as you'd expect, was also hot in the fourth, but Jameer's spurt and Howard's consistent dominance put the game away.
