Kevin Durant scored seven points in the first quarter to put the Oklahoma City Thunder up, 21-20, over the Portland Trail Blazers after the first quarter. He shot 3-of-7 from the field. Kendrick Perkins grabbed three rebounds, but also turned the ball over twice.

Russell Westbrook scored four points, pulled down three boards and dished the ball out for three assists. Thabo Sefolosha missed all four of his shots, including two three-pointers. Serge Ibaka nailed all three of his shots for six points and was around the glass for two rebounds.
For the Blazers, Gerald Wallace shot 80 percent from the field, scoring eight points. Marcus Camby grabbed half of the team's 10 rebounds. LaMarcus Aldridge contributed six points, but turned the ball over three times to the Thunder. They hold a 47.4-42.9 shooting percentage edge over the Thunder after the first quarter.
