Gilbert Arenas, starting for an injured Jameer Nelson, missed all seven of his shots (including four three-pointers), but has helped around the glass with four rebounds, dished the ball out for three assists and stolen the ball three times.
Amare Stoudemire emerged in the second quarter for the Knicks, scoring 11 of his 13 points then. Carmelo Anthony has six points on 6-of-8 shooting, but has grabbed six rebounds. The Knicks' starters have stayed out of foul trouble, but the bench has nine of the team's 13 fouls.
The Knicks are halfway to snapping their six-game losing streak, but will a refreshed Dwight Howard turn things around for the Magic in the second half?
