After outplaying the Chicago Bulls, although slightly, for the first two quarters, the New York Knicks managed to come out incredibly flat on both ends of the floor in the third quarter, and managed to get outscored by a considerable margin. A 55-53 lead at halftime has turned into an 84-73 deficit after three quarters. Derrick Rose heated up considerably after a lackluster first two quarters as the Bulls outscored the Knicks 32 to 18 in the third.
Bulls Vs. Knicks Score: Chicago Dominates Third Quarter, Leads Big
Incredibly, the score could have been quite a bit worse for the Knicks. They only scored two points in the first seven minutes of the quarter, and looked to be headed for a completely insurmountable deficit. Luckily, they heated up a bit at the end of the quarter, and we may still have a game in the fourth. Incredibly, both teams are still playing all of their stars. I cannot explain this for the life of me.
