Spurs Vs. Lakers Score: Kobe Bryant Picks Up Fourth Foul, Los Angeles Holds Slight Lead

Kobe Bryant had been on fire for the Los Angeles Lakers, but was stopped dead in his tracks by the referees, picking up his fourth foul during the third quarter and immediately getting whistled for a technical foul after showing his frustration. Bryant headed to the bench, but the Lakers were able to hold-off the San Antonio Spurs to take a 70-64 lead into the fourth.

Bryant still has a game-high 20 points on 7-16 shooting, but sat for the better part of the third quarter with foul trouble. Pau Gasol has 13 points, with Derek Fisher adding another 11 points. Lamar Odom added 11 points off the bench, as well.

With the starters resting for San Antonio, the reserves have plenty of chances to shine against the Lakers. George Hill has a team-high 11 points, seven of which came from the free throw line. Richard Jefferson, DeJuan Blair and Matt Bonner each have 10 points. Blair also has a team-high eight rebounds.
