Norm MacDonald's Sports Show debuted on Comedy Central Tuesday night and featured none other than Blake Griffin. In hopes of starting with a bang, MacDonald brought Griffin and Los Angeles Clippers teammate DeAndre Jordan in for a skit, using a bit of creative voice dubbing to play the role as Griffin. MacDonald wanted to be an NBA star, so he had his makeup artist dress him up like Griffin with surprisingly realistic results.

Of course, those results may have been so realistic because Griffin was playing himself, played by MacDonald. Make sense? The video below will.
The skit is Griffin making a fool of himself as he portrays the level of sports’ competence MacDonald has. It’s filled with airballs, awkward moments and even a sky-hook. While it’s MacDonald’s voice calling the shots, Griffin does an excellent acting job, all without cracking up during the three-minute spot.
Sports Show with Norm MacDonald is another sketch show in the mold of The Onion’s Sportsdome, though with MacDonald doing the bulk of the legwork. The show’s debut got mixed reviews, though the Griffin sketch was generally loved by the masses on Twitter.
If this basketball thing doesn’t work out, perhaps Griffin has an acting future.
