Mission accomplished. With the move to the Miami Heat and the change in jersey number, LeBron James has leaped Kobe Bryant on the NBA jersey sales list.
Chances Are, You Bought A LeBron James Jersey This Year
According to USA Today, LeBron took the top spot for the first time in seven years (based off sales at NBAStore.com since the tipoff of the 2010-2011 season). Bryant’s No. 24 jersey had been the league-leader in sales since the 2008-2009 season. Not anymore.
In a bit of a surprise, Rajon Rando made his way up to No. 3 on the list, one of four Celtics in the Top 15. The rest of the Top 10 include, in order, Amar'e Stoudemire, Derrick Rose, Dwayne Wade, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard and John Wall.
