Celtics Vs. Knicks Final Score: Boston’s 101-89 Victory Completes Sweep Of New York

The Knicks finally looked like the Knicks that fans hoped they would be late in Game 4. But they never led, and the Celtics clamped down in the final minutes of the fourth quarter to finish their Eastern Conference Quarterfinals series with a 101-89 win and a 4-0 sweep.

After the Knicks closed to 84-80 with 7:35 to go, thanks to some Anthony Carter jumpers, Boston's Big Four took over: Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen combined to score all of the Celtics' points in a 17-9 run to close out the game.

Garnett had six of those points, and 20 of his team-high 26 came in the second half.

Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 32 points, but scored just five in the fourth quarter. The Knicks shot just 34.1% as a team.

The Celtics will move on to face the winner of the Heat-76ers series in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
