Derrick Rose Injury: Rose Listed As Questionable, Says He Is ‘Definitely’ Playing
And on Monday, Rose was listed officially as “questionable” to play in Tuesday’s Game 5 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals against Indiana.
Despite the iffy prognosis, Rose himself said he is “definitely” playing in Game 5.
“It’s getting better every day,” Rose said. “I’m getting treatment on it the last couple of days, coming in in the morning, coming in at night getting treatment, so hopefully it will be ready [Tuesday].”
Rose didn’t practice Monday, but coach Tom Thibodeau is optimistic and said the swelling on the ankle has gone down. Rose will receive a pain-killing injection before Game 5.
