Mind Games In The NBA D-League Playoffs!

In the NBA D-League, the top seed in the playoffs get to pick its first round opponent. As the D-League is a test kitchen of sorts for the NBA, many watch how these experiments work out with a weathered eye. As it turns out, this year it is working out very interestingly! From the Erie Times-News, via Ridiculous Upside:

↵↵To decide its first-round opponent for the D-League playoffs, Reno had its player personnel assistant pick one out of a hat.

Only Erie's coach isn't buying it, saying Reno definitely chose Erie because it considers the BayHawks the weakest option. But Reno coach Eric Musselman has an elaborate backstory about a lack of consensus among the Bighorns on who to pick. Imagine if this were the Bulls and Knicks! Bring this to the NBA immediately, please.
