Lakers Vs. Blazers Score: Portland Running Away After Third Quarter

After the Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers matched each other step-for-step in the first quarter, it’s been all Portland on Friday night. The Blazers have taken complete control with steady production that began before the half and carried over into the third quarter. At the end of three, the Blazers hold a 12-point lead, 74-62, after the Lakers battled back from a 22-point deficit at one point.

All five starters are in double-figures for the Blazers, led by LaMarcus Aldridge’s 18 points. Wesley Matthews had 15 points, Gerald Wallace has 13 points and Andre Miller has 11 points. Miller already has a double-double with 11 assists to go with his 11 points. Wallace has cracked double-digit rebounds through three quarters with 11, as well.

Kobe Bryant has paced all scorers with 20 points, but his production is about it for the Lakers. Lamar Odom is the only other player in double-figures with 10 points off the bench. Pau Gasol has scored a grand total of two points since the first quarter and has eight for the game.
