The annual White House Correspondents Dinner was held on Saturday night at the Washington Hilton, where the President of the United States has to share top billing with an assortment of odd celebrities, hangers-on and journalists. News organizations shamelessly load their guest lists with a mixture of politicos and names in the news, and the 2011 edition was no exception. The Washington Post table, for instance, had both Speaker of the House John Boehner and Donald Trump.
Not In The NBA Playoffs? May As Well Hit The White House Correspondents Dinner
Also available as guests: NBA players who don't have playoff games on their calendar. So of course New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony was there, with wife LaLa Vasquez on his arm. A few more notables after the jump.
Following in the tradition of former not-in-the-playoffs Wizards big man Etan Thomas, Washington rookie John Wall attended the shindig as a guest of The Hill. According to Politico, Wall thinks President Obama is doing a "good job," so he's a polite guest, too.

- Erin Andrews, who sat at the ABC table, which make sense. Joining her were actor Paul Rudd and White House Chief of Staff William Daley.
- Cal Ripken Jr., the Orioles hall of famer, who was a guest of Politico along with an eclectic assortment of celebs and politicians: Jeremy Piven, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Joan Rivers, John Legend and Melissa Leo, among others.
