Celtics Vs. Heat, Game 5: Is The Window Closing On Boston?

The Miami Heat are headed to the Eastern Conference finals after scoring the final 16 points of Game 5, knocking out the Boston Celtics with a 97-87 decision.

LeBron James polished off the series-ending flurry with the last 10 points, capping a 33-point night that put the Heat in the conference finals for the first time since Dwyane Wade lead the club to the NBA championship in 2006.

After getting beat in five games but the young and hungry Heat, CelticsBlog has to wonder...is the window now closing on the aging Boston Celtics?

Gotta give the Heat credit, they started slow each game but like a boulder going downhill they picked up steam and just kept on coming. Once again the Celtics put themselves into position to win the game and once again they came up short in the end. Only this time it wasn't just short, it was stopped cold. The Celtics didn't score for the last 4 minutes and 29 seconds. Unreal.

It’s going to be an interesting off-season for Boston, even without the impending lockout.
