Amar'e Stoudemire is doubtful for the New York Knicks' Monday game against the Toronto Raptors, coach Mike D'Antoni has announced. Stoudemire turned his ankle against the Golden State Warriors last week, and missed the Knicks' Saturday game against the Sacramento Kings. Rookie Josh "Jorts" Harrellson filled in for Stoudemire, and had a good performance with 14 points and 12 rebounds as New York won running away.

With that win, the Knicks completed their only trip to the West Coast of the season. They began the season at home on Christmas Day before heading out West for three games.
The Knicks have a very thin bench. Harrellson was a second-round draft pick in June, and looks to become the second straight late pick-up that avails himself well for New York. Landry Fields, a player many draft analysts had going undrafted in 2010, became a starter for the Knicks last season.
