The Chicago Bulls saw one of their key players leave Saturday night’s game with an injury.

In Friday night's game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the visiting Chicago Bulls, the hottest team in the NBA has apparently to suffer another injury.

While the Bulls still have superstar and reigning MVP Derrick Rose dealing with turf toe, they had a scare early in the first quarter. About four minutes into the second quarter, power forward Taj Gibson appeared to roll his ankle and headed toward the Bulls bench, limping.

Gibson was checked out by trainers and according to Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago, the early diagnosis is a left ankle sprain. He is questionable to return to play in the rest of the game, although the Bulls held a sizeable lead heading into the fourth quarter.

The Bulls have a deep bench and have some breathing room in both the Central Division and the Eastern Conference, but they would still be hurt to be without both Rose and Gibson for an extended amount of time.
