Dwyane Wade rolled his right ankle during the Miami Heat's loss Jan. 13 to the Denver Nuggets and because of that, he will not play Saturday evening against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Dwyane Wade Injury: Sprained Ankle Will Sideline D-Wade Vs. 76ers
Wade left last Friday's game against the Nuggets midway through the fourth quarter after rolling his right ankle in gruesome fashion. Wade got tangled up in the lane, and as a result his ankle bent at quite the awkward ankle. The injury forced him out of the game and into the locker room.
This will be Wade's third-consecutive missed game. He missed Tuesday's 120-98 victory over the San Antonio Spurs and Thursday's 98-87 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Heat play again on Sunday against the Milwaukee Bucks. No word on whether or not Wade will miss that game though it seems unlikely he would play.
Wade is averaging 19.6 PPG in 9 games so far this season.
