Andrew Bogut will miss 8-12 weeks with a fractured ankle according to the Milwaukee Bucks. The worst case scenario could have the center missing the rest of the 2011-12 season. At best, Bogut would be able to return sometime in mid-March.
Andrew Bogut Injury: Bucks Center Out 8-12 Weeks With Fractured Ankle
Bogut was forced to leave during the first period of Wednesday's win over the Houston Rockets with what was deemed at the time to be a sprained ankle. He was seen leaving the arena a walking boot, however, and further testing revealed that he had fractured his left ankle.
The impact on the Bucks could be immense. Bogut is first on the team with 8.3 rebounds and third with 11.3 points per game, and second with a 15.7 PER this season. Expect Drew Gooden to see his minutes extended with Bogut out, as well as more court time for Larry Sanders.
