The Los Angeles Lakers have added another wing by signing Chris Douglas-Roberts to their training camp roster. It's unclear at this point whether Douglas-Roberts will end up making the final roster.

Douglas-Roberts was drafted in 2008 out of Memphis by the New Jersey Nets with the 40th overall pick in the draft. Douglas-Roberts has played in 155 NBA games and started 53 contests for the Nets and then later on the Milwaukee Bucks. Douglas-Roberts averaged 7.7 points and 2.2 rebounds in 20.6 minutes. Douglas-Roberts spent this previous season overseas playing for Virtus Bologna in Italy.

Douglas-Roberts will likely be battling with Devin Ebanks, and Reeves Nelson to try and land a spot on the team, with both Metta World Peace and Antawn Jamison likely secured in the first two small forward spots. Ebanks is probably the prohibitive favorite to land that third spot, so Douglas-Roberts has an uphill battle to secure a place on the team.
