Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry left Friday night’s game vs. the Portland Trail Blazers with a sprained right ankle. Later his coach said he could have continued playing if it were not preseason.

Christian PetersenJackson told Sports Illustrated’s Ben Golliver: “I’m sure if it was Game 7 he would be available. To me, it’s not that important. He’s fine. He could have went back into the game tonight. I’ll just play it by ear and make a decision.”
While an ankle injury limited Curry to 26 games last season, the injury Friday does not appear to be serious enough to keep him out of any regular season games.
