A loose screw in Hedo Turkoglu’s hand will likely force the Orlando Magic forward to miss another month of action, the team’s official website reports.

The injury occurred during the first game of the season and has kept him off the court ever since.
Turkoglu is disappointed at this setback, but hopes that this won’t be as big a delay as it may be:
“They put the cast back on for it to be more stable,” Türkoğlu said. “I’m upset cause I hoped to come back sooner. Hopefully it won’t take long.”
In Tukoglu's absence, Magic head coach Jacque Vaughn has been scrambling to replace the 12-year veteran. Undrafted free agent DeQuan Jones got a pair of starts in Turkoglu's place before he went down with his own injury. After Jones went down, Vaughn called on Josh McRoberts, a natural power forward, to start.
The Magic head to the Palace of Auburn Hills on Friday to visit the Detroit Pistons. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
