The San Antonio Spurs announced on Friday that Kawhi Leonard will miss 10 to 14 days due to quadriceps tendinitis in his knee. Just one day after the Spurs home loss to the Knicks, Leonard went in for an MRI which confirmed the issue in his left leg. The Spurs stated that he will stay home and not make the six-game road trip through the Eastern Conference that begins on Wednesday. The trip features San Antonio's only appearances of the season in Boston and Miami, considered two of the best teams out East.
Kawhi Leonard injury: Spurs’ F to miss 10-14 days with knee tendinitis
San Antonio Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard will miss 10 to 14 days due to tendinitis in his left knee.

Leonard, a second-year swingman, is one of the Spurs top young players, emerging as a starter and key contributor on a team that's led by Hall-of-Fame veterans. He's averaging 10.6 points per game and shooting 49 percent from the field through San Antonio's first nine games. Leonard is also a solid defender on the wing for Gregg Popovich, who often matches him up with opposing team's best perimeter scorers.
The Spurs first game back from their road trip is on Dec. 1 against the Memphis Grizzlies.
