Steve Nash will miss at least 3 more Lakers games

The point guard has been out since Oct. 31 and was replaced in the lineup by Steve Blake and Darius Morris.

Out of the lineup since suffering a non-displaced fracture in his fibula on Oct. 31 against the Portland Trail Blazers, Lakers point guard Steve Nash will continue to sit out for the next three games, head coach Mike D'Antoni told Mike Trudell of Lakers.com.

Nash, 38, has missed nine games for the Lakers after starting the first two games of the season. If he is able to return after the four-game stretch, Nash would re-enter the lineup on Nov. 27 against the Indiana Pacers.

In the season opener, Nash recorded seven points and four assists in 34 minutes on the floor, but played only 16 minutes in the next game against the Trail Blazers before an injury ended his game.

Steve Blake originally took over as the starting point guard for the Lakers in his place, but he has missed four games after suffering an abdominal strain. The team has instead started 2011 second-round selection, Darius Morris, at point guard.

After a 1-4 start to the season that resulted in the firing of head coach Mike Brown, the Lakers have won five of their last six games, including a three-game win streak that could extend to four on Wednesday.
