    New York lead for most of the game, and held a commanding 57-44 lead at halftime. Philadelphia attempted to chip away at the lead for the rest of the game, but the Knicks essentially traded baskets over the final two quarters to ensure the victory.

    Lakers now on pace for 21-win season

    The Pistons were led by Jonas Jerebko, who came off the bench for 18 points. Detroit had difficult stopping the L.A. in the paint, where the Lakers scored 56 points.

    L.A. came out of the gate hot, scoring 34 points in the first quarter while holding the Pistons to just 13. Despite being outscored in the fourth quarter, the Lakers were up more than enough to rest their starters, none of which played more than 33 minutes.
