Sacramento Kings rookie Thomas Robinson was ejected from a game against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday after throwing and landing an illegal elbow on Jonas Jerebko. He will be suspended for two games.

The incident occurred during the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s game. Robinson and Jerebko were tied up on a rebound attempt before Robinson elbowed Jerebko in the throat. Robinson was immediately assessed a Flagrant Fout 2 and ejected from the game.
After staying down on the court momentarily, Jerebko remained in the game. Robinson later apologized for the incident on his Twitter account, saying he lost his cool.
