Thunder 96, Bulls 91
Losing to the Bulls in Chicago isn’t normally such a bad thing, but the Thunder needed this one. With the Bulls still figuring out where they fit in before Derrick Rose returns and OKC struggling to prove they are still elite, we had a close affair in Chicago, with neither team ever leading by more six. In the end, Kevin Durant (24 points on 20 shooting possessions), Serge Ibaka (21-9-4) and Russell Westbrook (16-12) finishing the job. Kevin Martin scored 15 points on nine shooting possessions. That dude is just wrong. Luol Deng led the Bulls (3-2) with 27, and Rip Hamilton (who is quietly having himself a season) added 20.

In TNT’s Thursday double-header, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook had big fourth quarters to get OKC a win while Jamal Crawford led the Clippers past Portland.

DeAndre Jordan scored 20 for the second straight game. He had a total of four such performances in his first four seasons. Something tells me he worked on his post game! He shot 8-10 from the floor to get his 21 points. L.A. led by 24 in the second quarter, but let Portland get back to within four in the fourth before Chris Paul (21) and Jamal Crawford (25) put it away. Nicolas Batum was quite good. LaMarcus Aldridge was not.
