Kobe Bryant broke the 30-point barrier for the sixth consecutive game Sunday as the Los Angeles Lakers strolled to a 111-98 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Sixers (12-12) had no answer for Bryant, who finished with a game-high 34 points, six assists, four rebounds, all evening, but he was hardly forced to do it alone. With Steve Nash and Pau Gasol sitting out once again, the Lakers (11-14) were treated to some surprising performances from Darius Morris (career-high 15 points), Chris Duhon (14 points, four assists) and Jodie Meeks (12 points, four steals). Los Angeles' unheralded trio also combined to drain nine of the Lakers' 14 three pointers on the evening with the team relentlessly firing it up beyond the arc 34 times.
To their credit, Philadelphia was almost equally as shorthanded with leading scorer Jrue Holiday sitting out for the second-straight game as he nurses a sprained left foot. Nick Young scored a team-high 30 points and stepped up in his place while displaying some deadly accuracy from downtown, shooting 6-of-12 from three-point range. The Sixers also had 16 points each from Evan Turner and Spencer Hawes.
With the loss, Philadelphia has now dropped three straight for their longest losing streak of the season. As for the Lakers, this was the first time that they’ve strung together consecutive wins since they won three in a row from Nov. 16-20.
