Thursday night features two of the Western Conference's current powers as well as a couple of veteran teams looking to right their ships. The Oklahoma City Thunder host the Dallas Mavericks in the first game on TNT, with the Boston Celtics traveling to Los Angeles to take on the Clippers later on.

Including falling to the Miami Heat in their NBA Finals rematch on Christmas Day, the Thunder have now dropped two in a row after rattling off 12 straight victories. As for Dallas, Dirk Nowitzki returned in the Mavs' last game and will come off the bench for the time being as he continues to work himself into shape following knee surgery. The Mavericks have lost three consecutive contests.

The Celtics notched a 93-76 road win over the Brooklyn Nets on Christmas, and play the first of a three-game stretch on the West Coast against the Clippers Thursday. Los Angeles is rolling, as the Clips haven't lost a game since Nov. 26, pushing their franchise-best winning streak to 14 with a 112-100 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday.

The Mavericks and Thunder tipoff at 8 p.m. ET on TNT, with the Celtics and Clippers getting underway at 10:30 p.m. ET.
