Rockets vs. Lakers final score: L.A. road woes continue, lose 107-105

The Los Angeles Lakers dropped yet another game on the road, falling to 1-5 on the road this year.

The Los Angeles Lakers' road struggles continue as they dropped on the road to the Houston Rockets, 107-105, on Tuesday night.

The Lakers led 83-73 after the third quarter but then the offense went cold in the fourth quarter. Rockets forward Greg Smith scored 14 points in the fourth quarter as the Rockets survived foul trouble from many of their starters to pull off the comeback.

Smith played a career-high 24 minutes in the game and scored a career-high 21 points. Rockets guard James Harden registered a double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 10 boards. He didn't shoot particularly well in the process, going 3-for-19 in the game.

Kobe Bryant led all scorers with 39 points but didn't get much help from anyone but Dwight Howard and Antawn Jamison. Howard finished with 16 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks.

With the loss, the Lakers dropped to 1-5 on the road this year. Their only road win of the year came against the Dallas Mavericks on Nov. 24. The Lakers need to figure out their road troubles soon -- eight of their next 11 games are away.
