Carmelo Anthony could be forced to miss the New York Knicks' game against the Miami Heat on Thursday night after injuring his finger in New York's 100-98 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats. According to the New York Times' Nate Taylor, Anthony has no feeling in his finger and isn't sure if he will be ready to go in Miami.

On Wednesday night, the Knicks prevailed over the upstart Bobcats despite an inefficient game from Anthony, who put up 23 points on 8-of-22 shooting from the field and only added three rebounds and two assists. The victory gave the Knicks the best record in the Eastern Conference at 13-4, which is half of a game ahead of the 12-4 Heat. Miami dropped a stunner to the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night.
The Heat and Knicks will meet for the second time this season on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on TNT. In the teams’ first matchup of the season, the Knicks thrashed the Heat, 104-84, in New York’s debut game of the season and its first after Hurricane Sandy.
