Thursday night is the signature night for the NBA, as TNT gets its weekly double-header on TNT. There are only two games on the slate, but the first one should be plenty appetizing to about everyone. Here is a list of the scheduled games.
NBA schedule: Heat, Knicks battle for first in Eastern Conference
The headline matchup this NBA Thursday will be the New York Knicks battling the MIami Heat for first place in the Eastern Conference.

The 13-4 New York Knicks and the 12-4 Miami Heat meet in a battle for the right to be in first place in the Eastern Conference. The Knicks won their first game against the Heat in convincing fashion in Madison Square Garden, and will look to do the same in American Airlines Arena, where Miami is undefeated.
Following that game will be a matchup of two struggling Western Conference teams in the 8-10 Dallas Mavericks and the 7-12 Phoenix Suns. Phoenix and Dallas have gotten to rough starts as they both adjust to life without their stars (Steve Nash traded to the Lakers, Dirk Nowitzki still out with injury).
Coverage of Heat vs. Knicks will get started on TNT around 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. PT, and will be followed by Suns vs. Mavs around 10:30 p.m. ET, 7:30 p.m. PT.
