The New York Knicks might see Linsanity come to a temporary end as they host the New Orleans Hornets at Madison Square Garden. After the third quarter, the Knicks trail by 10 points, 68-58.

After the Knicks were able to come within four points heading into halftime, the Hornets have reopened the 10-point lead that they held in the early going. Trevor Ariza of New Orleans is leading all scorers with 20 points, also managing seven assists and two steals.
On the Knicks side, Amare Stoudemire is leading scorers with 19 points and six rebounds. Jeremy Lin has recovered after a very slow start and now has 18 points, five assists, two rebounds, three steals and an uncomfortable nine turnovers.
The Knicks will need to manage another big fourth-quarter comeback if they hope to extend their winning streak to eight games.
