Bulls Vs. Spurs Final Score: Derrick Rose’s 29 Points Secure Chicago’s 96-89 Victory

The Chicago Bulls picked up a league-high 29th victory Wednesday night by defeating the San Antonio Spurs on the road, 96-89. Point guard Derrick Rose led all scorers with 29 points. He was 10-of-23 from the field but did make all eight of his free throws.

The Bulls played a tight first quarter with the Spurs, but they overcame a two-point deficit to enter halftime with a 50-42 lead. The third quarter saw the Spurs battle back by holding the Bulls to just 15 points. San Antonio held a 66-65 lead entering into the fourth quarter as a result. But the Bulls started to pull away with six minutes left in the contest and firmly secured the win with one minute left to play.

Joakim Noah and Luol Deng also helped things along with their 10 points each and 22 total rebounds (13 for Noah). C.J. Watson contributed 12 points off the bench.

The Spurs received a double-double from Tim Duncan with his 18 points and 10 rebounds. Gary Neal was explosive off the bench with his team-high 21 points. Tony Parker finished the game with 11 points, nine assists and six rebounds.

The Bulls (29-8) visit the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday night.
